Verify that the guard’s internal support bearings spin freely and that the safety chains remain attached and correctly tensioned. Replace any guard showing structural damage immediately as operating without a fully intact PTO shaft cover violates safety standards and exposes operators to potentially fatal entanglement hazards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Clean the inner tube and outer tube profiles with a wire brush, apply a film of anti-seize grease to the profile surfaces, and verify that the shaft slides freely through its full range before storage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
