As engrenagens c\u00f4nicas t\u00eam formato c\u00f4nico e s\u00e3o normalmente usadas para transmitir movimento entre eixos que est\u00e3o em um \u00e2ngulo entre si, mais comumente a 90 graus. Neste sistema espec\u00edfico, o design de dentes retos significa que os dentes s\u00e3o cortados de forma linear, em vez de serem curvos ou helicoidais.<\/p>\n<p>Esse tipo de conjunto de engrenagens garante a transfer\u00eancia igual de velocidade e torque entre as engrenagens sem alterar a velocidade de rota\u00e7\u00e3o.
