Esta norma abrange sistemas de marca\u00e7\u00e3o, materiais e requisitos de desempenho mec\u00e2nico para porcas com rosca fina, garantindo a compatibilidade com parafusos, pinos e prisioneiros. Aplica-se a porcas com alturas nominais e comprimentos de rosca efetivos definidos, com foco em classes de desempenho para garantir a confiabilidade em conjuntos mec\u00e2nicos. A norma enfatiza a preven\u00e7\u00e3o de falhas por espanamento da rosca, priorizando a fratura do parafuso em cen\u00e1rios de sobretorque, aumentando a seguran\u00e7a nas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #0056b3; margin-top: 40px; border-left: 5px solid #0056b3; padding-left: 10px;\">Sistema de marca\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O sistema de marca\u00e7\u00e3o da norma GB\/T 3098.4 distingue as porcas com base na sua altura nominal e no comprimento efetivo da rosca.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #007bff; margin-top: 20px;\">3.1 Porcas com altura nominal \u2265 0,8D (comprimento efetivo da rosca \u2265 0,6D)<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Essas porcas s\u00e3o marcadas com o primeiro d\u00edgito da classe de desempenho do parafuso com o qual s\u00e3o compat\u00edveis, selecionando-se a classe compat\u00edvel mais alta na Tabela 2. Porcas de classe de desempenho superior geralmente podem substituir as de classe inferior. Os conjuntos parafuso-porca podem suportar tens\u00f5es acima do limite de escoamento ou da tens\u00e3o de prova do parafuso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O aperto excessivo pode levar a falhas como fratura do parafuso, espanamento da rosca do parafuso, espanamento da rosca da porca ou espanamento combinado. A fratura do parafuso \u00e9 prefer\u00edvel, pois \u00e9 repentina e detect\u00e1vel, ao contr\u00e1rio do espanamento gradual. Para roscas de 8 a 39 mm, a sele\u00e7\u00e3o adequada da porca, conforme a Tabela 2, garante que n\u00e3o haver\u00e1 espanamento na carga de prova do parafuso.
