Ce r\u00e9ducteur constitue un \u00e9l\u00e9ment crucial du train de roulement, convertissant la puissance du moteur en un couple \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour propulser les chenilles et permettre une navigation ais\u00e9e sur les terrains accident\u00e9s, les pentes abruptes et les obstacles fr\u00e9quemment rencontr\u00e9s lors des op\u00e9rations d'exploitation foresti\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Le r\u00e9ducteur plan\u00e9taire repose sur un syst\u00e8me d'engrenages plan\u00e9taires compact, comprenant un pignon solaire central, plusieurs satellites mont\u00e9s sur un porte-satellites, une couronne ext\u00e9rieure fixe, un arbre d'entr\u00e9e reli\u00e9 au moteur et un arbre de sortie reli\u00e9 aux chenilles. Cette configuration permet une distribution de puissance efficace et une multiplication du couple.<\/p>\n<p>En fonctionnement, l'arbre d'entr\u00e9e re\u00e7oit la force de rotation du moteur, ce qui entra\u00eene la rotation des satellites autour du plan\u00e9taire tout en leur engrenant avec la couronne. Ce mouvement \u00e9picyclo\u00efdal g\u00e9n\u00e8re un couple important sur l'arbre de sortie, permettant des mouvements d'avant en arri\u00e8re ou de pivotement avec un contr\u00f4le pr\u00e9cis de la vitesse.
