La denture spirale pr\u00e9sente des dents incurv\u00e9es et obliques, souvent avec un angle d'h\u00e9lice de 35\u00b0, ce qui permet un fonctionnement plus souple et plus silencieux que les engrenages coniques droits. Fabriqu\u00e9s en acier au carbone ou en acier alli\u00e9, comme le 42CrMo4 ou le 16MnCr5, ces engrenages sont trait\u00e9s thermiquement pour une durabilit\u00e9 et une r\u00e9sistance accrues, ce qui les rend id\u00e9aux pour les applications \u00e0 forte charge et \u00e0 grande vitesse, telles que les diff\u00e9rentiels automobiles ou les machines industrielles.<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport de 2:1 est obtenu gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une denture deux fois sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle du pignon, assurant ainsi un transfert de couple efficace.
